Lifetime Warranty

The lifetime warranty covers parts and labour to fix a faulty GHOST 2 PRODUCT ONLY.

It covers product failure only.

T&C

  • If you forget your code or user error in any way it’s not covered
  • Repair or replacement of Ghost tags not included
  • The warranty is provided by www.ghostinstallations.co.uk and Trackerteam LTD and not by Autowatch the manufacturer.
  • Warranty is not transferable to a new keeper
  • Does not cover software upgrades to Ghost 2 device should they be required
  • If the unit has to be taken out of the car whilst work is done on the car this isn’t covered.
  • If existing client adding the warranty it must have been installed or re installed by us and you must be the original owner of the vehicle and no other ghost installer worked on the product
  • If any other Ghost installer or any person TASSA approved or not has touched the device the warranty is void
  • Deinstallation / Reinstallation of the Ghost are chargeable and not included in the warranty – In order to not void warranty, Deinstallations and Reinstallation have to be completed by us
  • We will get to you as soon as possible its not a next day service 24 hour service.

  • What Areas Do You Cover?

    Our head office is based in Halifax, however our engineers are based nationwide to cover all the UK.

  • How Long Will It Take To Fit?

    It’s dependent on the vehicle, usually around 2 hours.

  • If I forget my code what happens?

    We have a dedicated aftercare team who can assist you, after verification we are able to support you to change the code.

  • If somebody finds out my code what happens?

    It can be changed by you at any point and you can do this at any time and each day if you wish for maximum security

  • How does the start/stop system impact it?

    The device detects if your car has start / stop technology so you enter the code when you initially start the car and get into it and that’s it. If the car stops at traffic lights it automatically restarts as it normally would do before you had the ghost fitted.

  • Can I have a discount if I get two or more cars done?

    Speak to one of our dedicated account managers to find the correct deal to support your install. We always have offers available.

  • What is the service/valet mode?

    When the car is being driven by others, you can enter service mode so your code is not compromised to the garage. The car stays in service mode until driven over 30 mph or if you take it out of service mode. (Please ask on the day of installation how this is done.)

  • How long is it guaranteed for?

    The product is guaranteed for two years.

  • What happens if I sell my car?

    You can have it removed by us or leave it in the car as a sales feature to get more for your car with it fitted. Please note there will be an additional charge for this service.

  • What happens if the car is leased?

    We can remove and refit if required once your lease has ended. Please note there will be an additional charge for this service.
